# BillGuard privacy and support

## Public policy summary

BillGuard processes account information, uploaded bill files, extracted billing data, analysis results and purchase/subscription status to provide the service. Bill images and extracted text are sent to cloud storage and third-party AI model providers for analysis. Processing is not entirely on-device. BillGuard states that it does not sell bill data.

Uploaded files use non-public storage and authorized access. Users can export data or delete their account in settings; some payment records may be retained in anonymized form for legal and accounting obligations. See the current policy for details. Public website analytics and iOS data practices differ; do not infer that the website has no analytics from the iOS policy.

## Asking another AI about BillGuard

The footer's AI links contain a generic question and public documentation URLs. They do not include uploaded bills, account identifiers or analysis results. Clicking opens the selected third-party service, which has its own terms and privacy practices. Do not paste bills, utility account numbers, service addresses or payment details into these chats to research the product.
